  • Meaning of a Pashto Word--Help

    Hi there,

I want to know the exact implication of the word stonzy and how it differs from moshkelat. I don't want the language origins just possibility of differing implications in Pashto usage. Someone help, thanks.

stunze and mushkelat both means problems........

stunza/stunze is the right pashto word where as mushkil/mushkilat is urdu/dari word but still many pashtuns use it.

Pashto-English Dictionary First Edition by Zeeya A. Pashtoon. You can get it from Dunwoody Press. A second edition should be underway though so it might be wise to wait if you don't have an urgent need for it.
