it's a beautiful language and i like it. having said that, i fail to understand how my like or dislike of something becomes any of your business. i can learn whatever language and not forget pakhto, you can't say the same for yourself. that is why

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

Farsi/Dari, is not a beautiful language. I am fluent in it, and I can tell you that its filled with "chupalasi", and very spoiled people.

      Other then that, it's alright.

You should understand that (chaplosi-(flattery))is a form of phrase that exists in every single language , the usal itself.ge of which does not depend nor is limited to the language itself but the individual.
if farsi was such an ugly word, why do you depend on it?? you don't even know what chaplosi is in english and you were born in usa, dislike dari and can't form a sentence in pashto. in order to understand something you have to understand it first. then you get to decide if it's worth liking or not.

Talking out of your ass know. I can form sentences in Dari/Pashto. It's Urdu, that I can't.

Chaplosi== sucking up. That's the way we use it.

Sorry to tell you, but a lot of Farsiwaans are two faced. They can have a conversation with you, and once you leave all the Farsiwaans would talk **** about you, because your from Peshawer. Or they will say just about ant thing negative about that person, as long as his Farsiwaan friends laugh, like donkeys.

Pakistani's here get a lot of bad press, but they are way better then Afghans (Parsiwaans).

no sir they are not. it's the type of people you hang out with who are two faced. i hear a lot about punjabies being this or that which they aren't. same goes with pashtuns. for years i heard trash about them and thank God and my parents for giving me the oppurtunity to live with them and understand them.

Why you never smile, no jokes, Always serious and uptight?

why are we pashtuns adapting the farsi language so much. i really think pashto should be the dominant language in afghanistan as 70 percent of the population is pashtun. i really dont understand that a majority language isnt really a dominant language(like kabul). there arent any other countries where the majority has to adapt so much to others even their language
                          give me ur thoughts

First, from where did you get data saying that Pashtuns represent 70% of population? I'm interested in reliable data. I agree that Pashtuns are the largest ethnic group, but according to what I know they represent about 40% of population (population of Afghaninstan is another story).

Going back to your question. I think there are few reasons. Dari is much easier than Pashto and that's why Dari speakers aren't iterested in learning such a difficult language. Another reason - much easier to get a job knowing Dari. When pepole relize that Dari is enough to earn money, then what's the point to learn Pashto?

I agree with you that Pashto in Afghanistan is treated as a step child and that it's rearely used in official communication in Kabul, neither it's taught sincerely in schools.
But I wouldn't say that only Tajiks or native Dari speakers are guilty of this situation.

Have you heard that Pashto saying?
                          مړه خېټه فارسي وايي
It means that full stomach speaks Farsi. That saying comes from past, when Pashtuns coming to Kabul spoke Pashto at the beginning but after enabling themselves to get a job, food etc they started talking in Dari at their homes, also with kids. My friend, a Pashtun living in Kabul always says that his kids are hungry.
Even King Zahir couldn't speak Pashto being a Durrani Pashtun from Kandahar and some people quoted him saying that he told Pashtuns to speak Dari because it was easier.

I also heard about Pashtuns from Kabul who can't say a word in Pashto.

I know some of you will not like what I wrote. Conspiracy theories and common enemy are always more acceptable.
But regardless of what I wrote, being a non-Pashtun, I am a supporter of the Pashto language and Pashtun culture
