"Genuine Pashto" the new thread has been initiated to familiarize young Pashtun generation (PF users) with their native language Pashto.This specified thread will address both Kandahari and Peshawri (two fundamental dialects) Pashto.It is thus requested that all the participant/visitors use Pashto font as their source of communication setting a foundation for the promotion of the beloved language.If any of the participants come across a question or concern please consult me or the admin,Inshallah your question/concern will be addressed in a comprehensive manner.

can you offer us lessons on how to write?

Girls,thanks for ur interest in pashto language.We will start with typing Pashto,i am sure all of u are familiar with Pashto alphabets,if not,feel free to ask?
Procedures will be detailed in a thread manner.
Download Pashto keyboard:
Go to www.benawa.com
Click on Computer Science/Computer Pohana Tab
On that page,click on download Pashto Keyboard
On the same page there is a layout image for Pashto Keyboard that will work on ur English keyboard.Print out that keyboard layout image for typing practice purposes.
Once u have downloaded Pashto keyboard to your tower,go to control Panel>Regional and language options>Languages>Details>ADD>Click on KEYBOARD LAYOURT/IME,scroll down and select Pashto Afghan or Afghani Pashto and click apply and okay>close that application.
By now you should have a keyboard icon in bottom right task bar of your screen with two options for typing.ie.English and Afghan Pashto.

The pashto keyboard layout image will help you learn typing in no more than two days,thats how long it took me,,,
I know i know,it seems a bit long and challenging in text but trust me this whole process shouldn't take u more than five minutes.
