So far Pashto phonemic alphabet is the best way of transliteration to Roman script. I use it very often. It has only one drawback - is usefull in hadnwritting only as some characters doesnt exist in standard keyboards.

Polish alphabet is quite good, apart from transliteration of retroflex consonants.

              @AChildOfTheLand

              I can't see a way how to transliterate retroflex consonants (ټ ڼ ډ ړ) in Polish.
              Other consonants:
              ږ (soft) - g
              ږ (hard) - ż (rz)
              ښ (soft) - ch (h)
              ښ (hard) - sz
              ج - dż
              ځ - dz
              چ -cz
              څ - c
              ز - z
              ژ - ż, rz
              ه - h, ch
              ی - j

              etc...

              vowels:
              و - o, ł, u
              ې - e
              ه - a, e
              ي - i
              etc

              diphtongs:
              ی - aj
              ئ ۍ - ej

Transcription from Pashto to Polish would be more difficult than transliteration.
