Another word for Pashto is Afghani

my next door neighbor (tajiks)... the older lady still calls pashto, Afghani...

she still says, for example, i met this person back in afghanistan who was afghan and spoke afghani, i couldn't understnd him... she is a cute lady lol

The word of afghan or afghani was used by mugals and iranians for pakhtuns.
Even the greek historains ,,herodotos,,used the name of pakhteen not afghan.
Pashto or pakhto is the real name of our language.
