Computer Science Department of NUCES FAST Peshawar campus has been working in the field of Pashto OCR system since from 2006. This research has a tremendous contribution in the form of image dataset creation for Pashto script, which has 8000 images of 1000 unique ligatures having registration variations, scaling variations (font size 12, font size 14, font size 16 and font size 18) and rotation variations(4 rotated images per ligature). This database can be obtained from the authors, or by visiting the library of FAST-NUCES Peshawar campus, where it is available in the electronic form.
