Pa khairuno, folks!
As some of you may have noticed, Sahar Magazine has not been out for the last couple of months because the chief editor, Azra Jaan, has had too much to deal with recently. I don't think we're doing justice to her, to the magazine, or to Azra Jaan by just sitting idle, expecting her to perform another miracle some time soon. She fears that it may have to be out for the next 6 months at least.
So, I think we should do something revive it. I can't speak for all, but I have always enjoyed each entry in the magazine.
My request to you all, and my purpose for bringing this to your attention, is that if you or someone you know loves to write OR has a lot to say, please either PM me or post in this thread so I know whom to contact and what to request. (The idea is that if you've got something to say but don't know how to express it or don't like to write, Sahar can help you out.) Basically, you can submit anything that relates to Pashtuns. All perspectives are welcome, but all will be reviewed before they're published.
The deadline for submission is the 10th of each month. Of course, you can still send submissions after the 10th -- but it won't be guaranteed publication in that month's issue. You can send them to editorsahar@gmail.com.
Thank you for your cooperation and support!
Pa makha mo ranra.
- Roshina
P.S. I can't imagine that no one would have anything to say. We're Pashtuns, for God's sake, and things are going terribly wrong in every corner of our contemporary history. How can we remain silent in spite of it all?
