It was only the other month where I was hacked too and apparantly I sent a lot of viruses to everybody, khor there are other means of online communication trust me not just facebook..we should get rid of it before it actually causes damage...

But i like facebook i dont know what to do, i dont know anything about computers. Should i just change my password?

MFD .. Goto utilities folder under applications and open the activity monitor.. You'll see all the programs (processes) that are running on ur mac, see if you can find one named logger or something similar to this

also the facebook thing isn't a virus, it's some nut who has hacked it and is messing with everyone through facebook scripts

anyways try what I told ya and take ur piks off bucket, nowhere on Internet is safe .. Just keep em and share them when u need to then take them off

Okay i opened my Utilities folder then went to Activity Monitor. I see the programs, but i dont see anything named 'Logger'....is there anything else?

I will take off my photobucket pictures.....is there another site thats somewhat safer, i mean that i can make it totally private from public view. I have constantly checked my photobucket account to check if its on private...and it is.

What i recommend that you do is that if you've got photos to share to people keep em on say like a memory stick and make sure its kept safe because if they are affected then they disappear forever as mine did but luckily i had some back-ups..

As for facebook you should have a look at the facebook thread on this forum, that should tell you pretty much everything and another thing, 1 of my friends clocked on to the fact that facebook never get rid of your details no matter what, so slowly im going to be deleting all of my details and replace it with something else so they won't know who i am anymore..

Unfortunately there are always To hack em all, but I would personally opt for flickr since it's owned by yahoo so it has much better privacy and u can set it on individual pics so it's good.. But yeh I think ur mac is clean cuz if it had a keylogger software on it all your information could be compromised.. The thing about ur pic, I'd have to say it's probably one of the people who are on ur facebook or who know ur real name and can look up ur profile

but don't panic too much, these kinda things happen if the snooping continues then there is definitely someone who has access to ur account.. Change ur passwords is the best u can do right now

It might be under a different name..try to look for an unusual program that you've never heard of before, you HAVE to have an anti-virus because without that your computer is screwed..simply put

I have Kaspersky anti-virus 2010 the latest one and it is really good, defends the computer really well as i have had a couple of trojans and the key loggers tried already and it wiped out the threat completely...

I don't use Facebook anyway, I never ever upload pictures of my family on interent.
My uncle uploaded his son birthday party pictures on Internet and I told him to take it off because it got our house and family in it.
