      Silence
When silence is overcome by love,
      it turns into a song,
      When a song becomes obstinate,
      it turns into noise,
When a thought is sure of itself,
      it turns into a word,
When a word feels like dancing,
      it turns into music,
      and!
      When Music goes a dreaming
      it turns into Silence,
      Silence is the beginning
      Silence is the end.

          Rumi?

From the beginning of April until the first of June, I took part in a study of Rumi, and I also receive daily Rumi poems. How do people on this forum feel about Rumi? My experience in Swat Valley was that many people were skeptical of Rumi and Sufism. Comments please.

I consider him as the founder of homosexual sufism which is prevalent in Afghanistan and was championed by the Othoman empire.

I detest the name of Rumi. And Sufism should be banned all together. And all Sufi leaders should be prosecuted as heretics and punished for their crimes against Islam by fabricating falsehood and preaching it.

WOW! Rumi was an Afghan? How did that happen?

Rumi was born September 30, 1207, in Balkh, Afghanistan, which was then as you most likely know was part of the Persian empire. His family emigrated to Konya, Turkey sometime between 1215 and 1220, fleeing the invading Mongol armies.
