translation of the above poem by Mrs.yasmeenah a phd scholar

A polish Phd scholar has translated my pashtu poem
zamunga ham yow korakey woo wran sho..

    Here is the translation:

"We too had a small home that was destroyed
    Fresh Rhyme

[You] are seeing me silent since a few days
My children are silent with me too

    Sometimes they ask repeatedly
“Who might have destroyed our home, Baba?

We haven’t done anything bad to anyone
Neither have you spoken any bad words with anyone?”

What should I tell these children of mine?
Who are with me in a strange land and
[They] don’t know that this is not a new story between Satan and the God

    Then a child asks me
That we live in a strange land
We don’t have a house of our own here
And our home in our homeland has been destroyed too
[So] where are we going to live in our homeland?

I become a little teary eyed
My throat chokes and heart drowns
    I take some deep breaths
I speak some small words to him
That it is built with true sweat
    That neither natural catastrophes
Nor the barbarians of a jungle
    Nor those innocent people
Whose houses has been destroyed like mine
Nor those who are afraid of God
Neither that that walk in their senses
No way can they do this
No one can destroy my home

This is of those who are dumb-founded and drunk
Who know neither God nor the Prophet
[They] don’t think of human and creatures interests
Have no thought of well-being in their hearts
    Those people didn’t like us
Who wanted us to help them
    In their evil acts
    Extend a helping hand
    Or appreciate their works

In short there is this fight
    Between God and the Satan
Where people’s complete houses has been destroyed
It is the turn of our village now
We too had a small home that is destroyed"

Very nice poem... and very sad.

    Take care
