  • Ibn Battuta

I just read up on this remarkable man.
Ibn Battuta - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Does anyone know of any good books to recommend that go into detail regarding his travels & his life?

I own this one and found it to be an excellent read: The Adventures of Ibn Battuta, A Muslim Traveler of the Fourteenth Century. Highly recommended for you to start here. When I was in my book store looking, there was another one. I believe it contained some of the original texts but the language used was difficult to read.

I'll just go with the popular ones then,

The adventures of Ibn Battuta, a Muslim traveler of the fourteenth century - By Ross E. Dunn (1986)

Travels in Asia and Africa, 1325-1354 - By Ibn Battuta himself

Manzareh, I was looking at a preview of the books above and they do not go into much detail regarding his interactions with the Pashtuns.

Still, very interesting story he has.
