Sahar - The Voices of Pashtuns is an e-magazine produced and edited by Azra Nafees. Most, but not all, of the contributors of Sahar are Pashtuns, and the poetry section contains poems written (transliterated) in Pashto.
Almost all of the issues are available at Khyberwatch.com/Sahar in PDF format.
Since it is fairly new, barely a year old, I wanna request that it be shared with as many Pashtuns as possible. If you or anyone you know is into writing -- articles, poetry, reviews, etc. -- please contact Sahar at editorsahar@gmail.com. If you want to write but don't beleive in your writing skills, you may contact me here or e-mail Sahar at editorsahar@gmail.com.
As for the topics, as long as they are related to Pashtuns (our history, politics, geo-politics, economy, society, current affairs, culture, war/peace, leadership, etc., etc.), they are more than welcomed and appreciated. Pashto writing is also encouraged, whether written in the Pashto alphabet or transliterated. All forms of writings are acceptable. If your piece is not accepted for one issue, it's most likely because it was turned in a little late for that particular issue and will then certainly be considered for the next one. But rest assured: You WILL get your turn.
So! Please get to writing, or get others to do so. Sahar is always looking forward to new writers and new submissions. The deadline for submissions for each issue is the 10th of each month.
Thank you for attention and support, all!
