Re: Pashto films still rule box office: report

Yeah, if only we'd have more films like that and be able to say we're proud of our Pashtun/Afghan film industry today ...

The Pashtun films from Pakistan suck HORRIBLY! (Well, I hear they're often directed and produced by Punjabis who hate Pukhtuns, so ... maybe that explains? But maybe not.) So, like, OMG! I started watching them 'cause I was like, heck, lemme show some support for my people. And, my God! They were BEYOND pathetic!
I was too ashamed and embarrassed to finish even one.

Anyone who's interested in films and media should consider doing something about this. I'm thinking about it :D Maybe in a far, far future.... well, I'll write the stories, and someone can turn 'em into movies. And I can be the director for the films/dramas. No, seriously. Anyone who can't act superbly will not be on the acting crew.

Talk to me if you're interested We'll figure something out, ka khairee!

One day all Pashto films will be archived and will only be available in the London Dungeon of Horrors.

You mean there's an academy that they attend and the crème de la crème is picked out of acting schools and moulded into film stars?

And I always thought that to be in a Pashto film you needed to eat, drink and move like a hippo.

                  I was wrong.
