  • How to cook spinai rojai

This is a recepi that I developed myself though with "important" inputs from my sister. It is about how to cook spinai rojai. The nuskha is given below.

Ingredients: Oil few mls, onions 10g, rice two cups (or as many cups as your need), water 2 and half cups for every cup of rice, 30g of green beans,...

    Method:

-awal rojai (basmati) pa obu kai khoshtai kai (put the rice into water and leave as that for 15 minutes)...then put in a pot...
-put some oil in a patila (kettle) along with onions and heat till the onions (choped) start turning red in color...
-put water in the kettle...for every cup of rice there should 2 1/2 cups of water put in the kettle...put the beans as well
-heat the kettle till the water boils...
-now put the rice and slow down the heat...to 6-7 (on a scale of 10 e.g.) ...
-heat for three minutes...then reduce heat to 5...
-heat for some time and then reduce heat to degree 2-3...
-when all the water evaporates, put lid on the kettle, turn off the heat, and leave for 10 minutes, till chai wrijai dama shi...

Tasty rojai are aready for you to enjoy...

don't forget to put salt according to your taste...

And thanks for the recipee ... as I said, is this more like shola? because it seems like you add a lot of water (or more water than I use).

Yes Iqra, and the onion should not be heated much...just to the extent that they start turning red (but not red actually because then the rojai will not be spinai)...i like rojai very much ... with fresh salads and youghart (mastai)....
