    Uzbek Palaw of Northern Afghanistan is amazing. My cousin's friend is from Sheberghan and his mom makes the best Uzbek Palaw ever.

      Uzbek food is very good but Uyghur food is even better.

        Never had Uyghur food but Uzbek food is the best. There aren't any Uzbek restaurant in the US or at least I have not ran into any but the ones in Kabul and Peshawar are amazing.

            Qabuli is amazing, its actually the national dish of Afghanistan. But its completely wrong when people claim its "uzbek" because its not. I once read an article that claimed that when Alexander took Soghdiana locals gave him rice with carrot and dry raisins. Back then there were no Turkic people in our region.

                  Also there's an Afghan Restaurant somewhere on University Road...
                  But in Peshawar my favorite ruje is Baba Valy's near Khyber(Karkhano bazar)!
