Iranian food is nice, however it is pretty bland, at least the items I have tried, why? are there any spicy Iranian dishes?

Yeah these Iranian motherchodes eat bland food but their women are hotter then chicken biryani."I bow to no one, except ALLAH. I dont bow to punjabay, do not bow to kabulay and afghanay, do not bow to faujay and mullay, do not bow to asfandyarwalay and petty khanays...i am traitor to all of them." - Smartay

We're going back to the "Pakistani Food too Spicy" debate here. It's very subjective matter and again, restaurant food never really covers the full spectrum of that cuisine.Originally posted by Karachi View PostIranian food is nice, however it is pretty bland, at least the items I have tried, why? are there any spicy Iranian dishes?
They use many spices that are similar within the entire region, ME, Asia Minor, Central, and South Asia.

I've never had the chance to eat Iranian food but browsing through some google pics of it, some of the cuisine looks very similar to other middle eastern cuisine with some native elements added to it. Although i do agree that iranian food for the most looks rather bland and plain, especially their kabobs which is a one stick piece tossed on a plain plate of rice.
In conclusion, Iranian food will vary from region to region considering the vast ethnic diversity of the country."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

Iranian food is nice for the use of specific spices and their own aroma. These aromas are very thin and would be killed by spicy seasonings.
What makes it difficult for me is maybe excessive use of rice. I am more used to vegetables than grains and more pulses than grains.Ա՜խ, ընկել եմ քար ու քարափ,
