Dumpukht is a awesome restaurant in Lahore.. Namak Pashtun Grill is also really good. They do legit Afghan food.. makes me glad when ppl from FATA and Afghan refugees make it big in Karachi/Lahore despite the hate.. Walking around in Lahore with shalwaar kameez and people always say "TUM PATHAN LAG TEY HO".. n im like yeeee boi you already know lol
Most of the Pashtun restaurants in Karachi and Lahore are owned by Pashtuns from KPK and Baluchistan and a few from FATA, there are very few Afghan owned ones and most of the Afghan owned ones are in Islamabad.

There's a popular restaurant in Islamabad called Afghani Burger

Idk even know if this is legit Afghan food or just a western adulteration, but it's still good

We Afghan do use actualy the same spices as the rest of South Asia, but we don't overdue it, our chicken, meat and vegetables still has its basic taste, you know what you eat, the thing with Indian and Pakistany food is mostly so spicy that it ruins the taste....I ate Pakistany food, mostly really fat and spicy....the same with Indian.

Afghan food is milder only some familys eat it really hot but that is personal choice and not a norm...
Palauws, bolonys, dupaiza and mantoo are not really spicy or hot you can make it hot if you want, but that is not the how it suposed to be...

Listen, by using the word paki, you show your own Charpai heritage.

It's mostly the south asian muslim food that is popular world wide, be it from Delhi/UP region or Punjab

Except Indian Punjabi food,Which indian cultural cuisine is similar to Pakistani cultural cuisine?

Mind it,Punjabis are only 2.5% of Indian population.

every culture has good and bad food, afghan chicken is always dry as hell for some reason.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Again, unless any of you have actually had real food cooked by real mothers and fathers, you're arguments are moot.

                        Pakwatan,

Half the food you posted seems like restaurant grade food. Those Kofta Kabobs or whatever you guys call them is processed. I've seen those at restaurants here, they are horrible and the meat is usually old. The chicken has lots of coloring, but usually lacks flavor. The chapli Kabob, Pacha (Meat with Leg parts), and that Stew/Curry is very similar to Afghan styles. SO again, you are comparing things that are relatively similar.

Both foods are great when cooked by professionals. Restaurants just don't do it right. I have yet to find a restaurant that makes Qaboli, Kebabs, Stew, and Curries that are even half way as good as what my mother, grandmothers, or aunts have cooked.

we have to define what pakistani food is??? are we talking about Mughali items, which are common in both Pakistan and India or regional local cuisine? Interior Sindhi food is actually different for example, I have only tried Sindhi biryani out of them, which has potatoes.

actually the funny thing is, in early hinduism period, they use to eat meat, even cow meat. For example Kashmiri Brahmins have always ate meat. Later on hindus became vegetarian
