I am not a vegetarian, but 80% of my meals these days are vegetarian. In fact 3 days in a week, I actually eat only steamed/boiled vegetables, trust me I have never felt better in my life
I like vegetables but I can't get excited by those all-vegetarian shud shakaari Indian diets. Doesn't surprise me that half the Hindus I meet either don't bother with the rules or choose to live by this strange system of not cooking meat in their own pots but happy to eat it when it is cooked in someone else's pot.
^ partial vegetarians refrain from consuming meat on certain days of the week and on those days, everything they cook has to be in pots and by utensils that have not been contaminated by meat in the past. instead of going through the hassle of keeping duplicate pots and pans, they simply eat meat when they are not home.

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
