and I don't think the meat is cooked when you do it like that....
You can put the samusa in the oven instead of frying it.
afghan, Those do look good but I don't have access to halal meat where I am unfortunately."Do not waste water even if you were at a running stream."-Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

they taste good as well, uzbecks makes the best food. And about the halal meat dont waste your money in arab or paki store paying for halal meat, costco is the best place to get a nice juicy halal austrailian lamb with no bones and very little fat.Originally posted by Joey_Gladstonezai View PostGee, I didn't even think of that. Brother afghan,
I have heard about the halal meat you mentioned offered at Costco. But do you know if it is hand-slaughtered or machine-slaughtered? Because a lot of meat that has been machine-slaughtered or stunned is marketed as halal in the West and even in few Muslim countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia.
There are a few free-range pastures in North America. I might visit one relatively close to me to get organic, halal meat.
I am not a big fan of meat but I am trying to eat it at least once a month in light of a hadith of the Prophet (SAW) that recommends Muslims avoid refraining from meat for 40 consecutive days or consuming it for 40 consecutive days. Moderation is probably better.
Here is a website with the contact info of some of these farms and pastures throughout North America:

Yeh its hard to find out how the halala was done. we dont know wether the muslim store owners are selling the meat was from properly slaughtering process. there are some farms where you can slaughter the animal yourself, the butcher just clean it for you. you are not a meat lover any way, wont work for you.Originally posted by Joey_Gladstonezai View PostBrother afghan,
