Rum balls

There was a pastry/dessert I use to have in the middle east which was so delicious, it had choclate layering from outside and inside it had crushed pistachios and some other nuts. I have never tasted any thing like it, does any one know the arabic name of it?

I think in the west they are called Rum Balls and they look some thing like this, but over here they have rum inside them so I cant really try them. I also dont know many places selling them here

They look abit like praline chocolate. You should try out belgian or swiss pralines. They have the richest tastes but make sure you get the pralines that lack alcohol. some companies are really sneaky about it.

Yum...That picture stimulates the chocoholic inside me but I'm supposed to be on a chocolate free diet.

Did you try any Middle Eastern resteraunts? You're bound to find one in Toronto.
