Request . I love it. Actually, rice is one of my faves. Biryani, pulau or plain white. What I wanted to ask is if you guys used a fork or something or you were traditionalists i.e. eat with the hand. Anyway poll added.

Digital Malang. I take note. Don't be too hard on me. I'm usually well behaved

P.S. I didn't actually know the Pashto word for chopsticks, so settled on the phonemic spelling. That's why the poll was late!

if i use a spoon then i burn myself. i use my hands for eating only when i am back home or invited to some afghan's house for dinner and everyone else is eating with hands.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

I am eating rice (with korma & sabzi) right at this moment

At home it's always with the spoon although in the past we would use our hands more often.

When we are guests it's still with the spoon. In Afghanistan as well, most of the time we would eat with spoons but using hands would be more common over there than it is here.

I have a dislike for Kabuli Palao. I don't like things in my rice.

I can't imagine how you would eat rice with chopsticks

Back home I used to eat with hands, then in Islamabad I started using spoon and here now, only spoon. But with hands there is more taste.

That is very nice. We eat it with milk or yogurt and shorwa which very tasty but not every rice... Only our rice. Our rice is very rare I think. I have not seen that rice anywhere else.

The long one comes from punjab. We have a small one but very nice... We people don't like the long one.
