I don't have salt that much but sugar yes. I have had too much sugar in sweets of every type since my childhood. Even now, two spoon sugar in a glass of milk daily in the morning with veetabeks, and four cups tea a day plus other random sweets lol which includes sweets, buscuits, cakes, firni, fruits, zaloby and many other but random not regular.

I hate fussy and super cautious people. Unless you are in danger of dying tomorrow because you have stuffed your face with sugar, I don't see the point of depriving your self from the two. What is there to feel good about if your food doesn't have the right amount of sugar or salt in it??
I am not a big fan if sugar though.
I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.
non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

Your body needs essential salt to function properly, particularly for your kidneys. When your body is low on salt, your kidney tries to basically hold onto it. When there is a high amount of salt in your body, then your kidney releases it through the excretion of urine. However, your kidney cannot get rid of all the salt, so sodium starts to stay in your blood, which it does well in. You should be consuming about 2,100'ish mg of salt. The older you are (middle age) it should be half that amount. Of course, if its over that amount, you most likely gain weight and/or cause health problems like heart disease. The best thing to do, is stay away from processed food. Things like french fries, pizza, packaged nuts, chips, etc is high on salt. More than you should consume in one day.
Sugar, well sugar you really cannot get rid of. Even fruits and vegetables have natural sugar in it. But you want to really limit the 'bad' sugar that is in foods like soda, juice, candy, etc. Its really almost impossible to eliminate sugar, so that doesnt help. The point is to limit your sugar consumption. Because then you will face problems such as obesity.
I personally kinda watch what i eat. I enjoy ice cream and chips here and there, but i control how much and how often i eat it. Like i only eat a handful of chips possibly once in 2 weeks. And only one scoop of ice cream here and there.

Laila, I have lost my 12 teeth and some others are on risk just because of the too much sugar...Originally posted by Laila View PostYour body needs essential salt to function properly, particularly for your kidneys. Yeah apparently you do consume a lot of sugar :P
But you do have to take in consideration. your teeth may not have the strength to fight those sugars you take in (possibly not enough calcium) causing cavities. All you can really do is decrease your intake. Try to drink tea with sugar onlyin the morning. Also, try to use those sugar free sugar (sounds weird right). I personally dont take those sugar free ones, i dont think they are any different. Its like saying diet soda is healthier than regular soda, when in fact, its completely false.

Not to mention the presence of sugar greatly decreases the PH level in your mouth which degrades your enamel. I'm a huge stickler for oral health - if you're going to drink a sugary beverage, at least rinse your mouth out with water afterward.Originally posted by Laila View Postyour teeth may not have the strength to fight those sugars you take in (possibly not enough calcium) causing cavities.
