Iranian Rice

This Iranian lady invited us to lunch---and she had cooked rice very delicious---the interesting thing about the rice was, dana dana kaida still it was very well-cooked----and there was another dish as well---I think something coocked from lamb---

Does anybody know how to cook Iranian rice----?

I'm not sure which recipe you are talking about. I do have one at home from my Iranian friend so I'll post here.

The barberry saffron rice is good, as is tadig.

Was the lamb like a slowly cooked pot roast where the meat just falls off the bone? I really like it like that, justly lightly seasoned and barely any grease. Iranians do that teally well.

Also I love Iranian saffron rice.
