dhaal is so delicious sometimes... well sometimes.

dhaal is to pakistanis as shorwa is to pashtoons.

I don't like chickpeas but I don't mind them. Also, you must know that pashtuns in Afghanistan eat the same cuisine as their cousins i.e tajiks, uzbeks. There's no such thing as "Farsizuban" cuisine in Afghanistan.

^There are so cuisines which are unique to the province for example in Herat there is a dish we call it kecheri, it's unique to Herat and every Herati whether Tajik or Pashtun loves it!
                  I agree with the rest

*swoons* well isn't Kicheri a different form of Shola with qruti? What I'm saying is cuisine is pretty much similar throughout all of Afghanistan with just slight modifications .

                      ^ you both are right.

everyone in Afghanistan eats the same mantu, shorwa, kabuli palow, and kabab.

Like you mentioned, there are slight modifications. Like within mashruqi folks, we eat sabzi with eggs. Uzbekis make their showla yellow with garbanzo beans and chicken mixed in. they then leave it in the tandoori type oven to make the showla bulky. Mazari people make their mantu slightly different as well. But overall, we all eat the same things.

In Egypt there's a dish called Koshari , made of rice , macrooni , lentil , fried onion and some red sauce , and other igredients I think . It's not expensive but really filling .
