                  Borrani (:

Cut up eggplant, so you have round pieces lol and place it on a tabay

put it in the oven until the bottoms become brown (the top of the eggplant pieces will look dry) then flip them over and cook a little more until the other sides turn brown.

Cover the bottom of the ghore with maste (you can mix qrut to the maste for more flavor... thats what we did this time lol) and put the eggplant on the maste

Fry some tomatoes, add in some malga (salt), ooga (garlic), a little bit of masala (we use curry powder), and sheen mirchake (green pepper )

then add that on to the eggplant and some more maste on top

Nice. I never had baked borrani before, it was always fried and drenched in oil lol (probably much more unhealthy).
How would you compare the two? i.e. which way tastes better?

(and it's Aubergine, not Eggplant....Americans lol)

yeahhh normally we would fry it too lol but it was way to oily! it really doesn't taste that different so baking it makes it easier and less oily too

pft never even heard of aubergine before hahaha
