  • Hamburgers in Kabul

I remember the last time I was in Kabul which was 5 years ago my cousin bought me some food.
It was basically some chips wraped in bread and mixed with different spices i think. I cannot remember properly since it was so long ago yet I still remember how good it tasted. I think it cost around about 20 afghanis or maybe abit more although i can't fully remember.

Anyway they called it a hamburger...(I dont know why) so I am wondering if anyone has ever eaten this before, if it really is called a hamburger and if it is still sold.

Maybe I will get a chance to taste it again this summer if I go to Afghanistan inshallah.

I have had this before. It is chips and onions with fresh tomatoes wrapped in bread and ketchup. I didn't like it but I was amused by the idea. The burgers in Peshawar were similar stuff wrapped in chapati bread a long time ago. It's nice that they personalize it.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.
