  • I ate Kleicha (national cookie of Iraq known since ancient Babylon).

You can eat them with Iraqi dates (Iraq is the biggest exportor of dates and Iraqi dates are world famous), sweat discs, or the ones filled with sugar, nuts and coconut. Cardamon and rose water is used and also glazzed with egg wash in all versions nearly and scented with saffron.

Is there something similar in Afghanistan?

        • I haven't learnt yet. I was invited for Nowruz celebration and all food was prepared by Afghan and Iranian embassies.
