  • Kabali Polao

One of the things I am master of is cooking plain rice....or rice mixed with vegetables....

But one thing I don't know is how to cook Kabuli polaw...

Hope I learn some tricks here...

I also want to learn the other pulao i.e., the south asian variety...

what is Kabali palaw? r u guys talking about Qabuli palao or is it another dish?

u mean the rice that has raisons and carrots and other dried fruits in it? that is Qabuli palaw. and by far one of the best afghan dishes.

we make it at home with lamb meat....

it has alot of preparation steps.

u have to prepare the gazar, mamiz, and other dried fruits separately
      then prepare the meat separately
and then it comes together with rice.

i have made it for 30 to 40 people at once. Qabuli palaw is my favorite way of eating my rice

What is the secret behind the meat? How do they make it so tasty. Feroza can you come up with the full recipe if you havnt already, please.
We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public.

If I agree with you we w'd both be wrong.
