Chicken cooks relatively faster than lamb/beef, so twenty minutes to forty minutes on a high oven should do, 180 - 210 degrees celcius.
And if your chicken meets any of DZJ's criteria, then I would think they are quite stubborn. So you should reconsider preparation and heating times. Happy eating.
did you use any seasoning, lemon, oil, salt and pepper, any of that?
try turing it over. If you notice that its not pink then its cooked. Its probably dry, not enough juice. Squeeze one lemon on it. Check if its still juicy
Thanks Laila and Mazhla a lot again for the nice tips...I am not sure whether the temprature is in Celcuis ... and I use only salt and pepper....
Let me share a recipe of mine, I hope it works for you.
You will need:
1 whole chicken, with the skin
1 cup cream cheese
2 tbsp garlic (and a few extra whole cloves)
1 lemon
1 tsp ginger
1tbsp vege stock/1 cube/salt to taste
A few leaves of parsley (not a core ingredient, only a preference)
Method:
Blend the cheese, garlic, ginger, parsley, and your preferred seasoning in a blender until they're spreadable. Without removing the skin, carefully 'tuck' this paste under each skin layer. In the meantime, your oven should be preheating, and while that is happening, put a lemon and garlic in a pan to roast them. This doesn't need much time. You only need a tangy fragrance to know when these are done. Remove them from the oven and put them 'inside' the chicken. Put the whole the chicken in the oven on high heat - 210 celcius - for about forty minutes.
And, that's it. Not a very long or lengthy process. Noshi jaan de. =)
^ I am going to try that one day, it sounds tasty and easy to cook :D
I took out some of the ingredients so as to not put Toramana off. It is easy though. The first time I made it is when my mother called my sister's mother-in-law over. I can tell you, we put the entire chicken in front of her because she kept praising it. At that time, it was a fluke, as are some of my other recipes. I haven't made it too many times, in all honesty.
