  • *REVIVE* Pashto Only chatrooms and conversing in Pashto using Latin scripts

Like seriously, i can't read arabic script, let alone Urdu's sloppy handwriting.

I am here to boost and revive the use of Pashto on this forum and links to where the Pashto chatrooms are !

I don't care about writing in arabic script. Writing is not important. What matters is to speak in Pashto regardless of script weather it be arabic, latin or even cyrillic. The communists made Tajikstani Tajiks write in cyrillyic so who cares about script !

THe fact is we have to know Pashto today and get the basic grammar and vocabulary right! Then we worry about script !

Any links to chatrooms where they speak only Pashto\??

We can create such chat rooms here. Arabic script is a big hurdle in the promotion of Pashto in this modern computer based era. Do away with everything related to Arabs. Latin script is very easy to use.

Real Pashtuns would make an effort to read and write their language in its original, perfect script. Just because you can't read it, you want to change the alphabet?

No, it's because Arabic is different. Arabic uses vowel markings and the consonants stick to eachother. Arabic is cursive cause it sticks on..

Latin or Cyrllic script is good..

Tajiks were made to use cyrillic when they were conquered by russians ! Afghan tajiks still use arabic script..

Latin script is already in vogue. Because of its user-friendliness , this is the best way to write and read Pashto.

The problem is that we do not have a central authority for Pashto language who can declare Latin script as the official script for Pashto, otherwise on personal level millions of Pashtuns use Latin script in their social media, text messages and emails.
