Love the Lake District. Once camped out by the lake during one of those rare warm Yorkshire summers. I guess being over excited and not being able to sleep I tried to convince everyone that there was a plesiosaur (Loch Ness-type lizard monster) in the lake. Of course no-one believed me, but then a fox or a badger got close to one of the tents, and in the dark everyone started yelling because for a moment they thought some axe murderer was on the loose.Originally posted by Khaney View PostTry the Lake District, it's beautiful. LOL! Yeah when I was younger I'd use my wild imagination to guess what was lurking in the waters. I've been a couple of times, the boat trips were fun. It's a really fantastic place to go, as are many places in Yorkshire, I also like going to places like Ilkley. Summer's here truly are great, for me at least anyhow =)Originally posted by tor_khan View PostLove the Lake District. Once camped out by the lake during one of those rare warm Yorkshire summers.
