Dude this is nothing, you actually have to have the other person's cell and then program it.
You wanna know hacking ? one word for ya "Bluetooth", we did a demonstration back then where we used Bluetooth to hack the three different phones without touching them or without the original user knowing anything. Bluetooth devices have a huge enough radius to cover the hacker.

Most of this youtube stuff is fake and companies have appropriate security measures in check by the time the video goes viral.
Refined hacking is different and you need a lot of information regarding how phones work and all.
For example for us to hack a bluetooth phone, the first obstacle was to use a program to bypass the pin authentication .. Bluetooth features 128 bit encryption, those are lots of combinations for a human to guess but for a computer program it takes less than 3 seconds. Once you bypass authentication your in, you can use a plethora of BT programs available to hack and what not
