i actually thought about becoming a doc, it takes way too long though..My friends and me we started university at the same time.. They're still trying to get into mid school, while im graduating next year with a job.
becoming a doctor you pretty much end up spending the best years of your life in school, the pay is good but an engineer makes just as much if you do the year comparison..Also i can marry a doctor and i wont have to worry about anything haha jk
It's enough that I know, Our time had a home, In your heart..Was a place..But the glass always breaks..
Yeah it takes on average 3-5 years just to get into medical school after undergrad.....you have to get so much volunteer work: hospitals, clincs, nursing homes, etc...its a killer. Then you need forshadowing hours too. It so much work.
Yeah your youth is taken. I havent turned 20 yet and i bet next year i will start gaining weight and growing gray hair
Mashallah! Engineering is excellent. What particular field are you going into?Good luck with it all, you should marry a doc. That way you can buy this house
Depends on what type. The specialized docs make the real deal money. Even generalized docs make really good money

Hmmm....lets see, your undergrad is between ages of 18-23. You study premed at this time. This is the period where you get familiar with the core of science and lab. You have 4 hours of lab for each course. Its a killer. Then between 23-27 (depending on your intelligence) you are waiting on medical school. You take the MCAT's every year until you get the pleased score. You travel to different universities for interviews. YOu volunteer at numerous cities, emergency rooms, and even countries. Then when you get accepted you have 4 years of intense work and study. Then you have 2-7 years of residency/fellowship. You will be working in hospitals for 10-14 hours a day depending on your field. So if you do the math....you come into your 30's.....your whole twenties went by...i consider that the youth.
Btw, Medical Doctors make very, i mean very good money. Fresh out of medical school you are usually in $ 200,000-300,000 student debt. That takes your whole lifetime to payoff. You are bound to make good money to pay off those loans. Also the medical field has always been in high demand, they pay wayyy more money. Also, there are endless specializations of doctors, each paying mad bank. On top of that, doctors get bonuses like crazy....their whole vacations are payed for. Every year there are CME's that pay for vacation and cruises.
Of course, the picture i post up, a doctor can afford that, possibly after 10 years of working.
Engineering 5 years max, you will have a job paying $ 70000 - 100000 by the time your 22
Doctors 3-4 years of science degree, another 1-2 years trying to get into med school, another 4 in med school, u need 4 on top of that in residence
So you start your career when your around 30 years old. I had the marks and all and i could have gone for it but that would mean trading 10 of the best years of my life
