but in that 5000 year old history, Pashtuns were enemies.

you guys have to read old poems by khushal khan khattak

he said several pashtuns disagreed with his idea of a Pashtun state way back in the 1600's. Those same pashtuns in the 1600's sided with the mughal army and served the mughals

so this is not simply 70 years old. The idea of Pashtuns going against Pashtunsitan is actually 400 years old, not 70 years old . Stop thinking that this was because of Pakistan's creation. The resentment of a Pashtun state was inside the Pashtuns long before Pakistan was even created or even thought of. Pakistani Gul Khan pashtuns are the legacy of that. I mean, Khushal Khan Khattak had to deal with "Gul Khans" of his own time. Gul Khans existed long before Pakistan. Who were they Gul Khans to ? The Mughal Empire. Then they became Gul Khans to the Sikhs. Then to the british then to pakistan.

you think most Pashtuns were happy when the Durranis, Barazakzais and Hotakis were ruling them? Not the tribes that had feuds with the ruling family. Oh great a Pashtunistan is created, but it's run by the tribe we are enemies with ! We'd rather be with white british folks, Shia muslim Azeri Turks, Tajiks of Khorasan, Monglians, Alexander the Greek/Macedonian and black punjabis instead of these Pashtun goons who we have tribal conflict with .

also, the Ghilzai vs Abdali division become Pashtuns, when Hotaki pashtuns disliked Abdali Pashtuns. that feud had started 300 years ago roughly.

inter-triibal hatred of Pashtuns was the long reality. Taliban came, nothign changed, the same bloodshed and tears of the lost tribe of israel. The Pashtunistan concept isn't simple.

    Pashtunsitan was far from reality.

How do we know Pashto is 5000 years old ? 5000 years ago, we were rig-vedic people, iranian language family didn't exist that time and pashto is classified as east iranian...

If I am not wrong A in pakistan stands for Afghania.

Pashtuns are Afghans and land of Pashtuns is Afghanistan.

Urdu does not belong in Pakistan, it is an Indian language.
Since it was imposed on the people of what is now Pakistan, not only have the indigenous languages of Pakistan suffered - so has Urdu, to the point where Urdu speech of Pakistan, its adopted region, and its native region (Hindustan), has diverged significantly.

Original Urdu can only be heard in the homes of Muhajirs of Karachi/Hyderabad. The Pakistani Punjabis love to claim Urdu as their own - but other ethnicities know better. Although all are trapped by it. When you hear the Urdu spoken by people in Pakistan outside of Karachi (and Hyderabad) - its a koine. Punjabi-accented Urdu of Islamabad/Lahore is not the same language my ancestors contributed to.

There are 3 types of "original Urdu" - Khari Boli (Dehalvi - the base of standard Urdu), Awadhi Urdu (prestige dialect) and Dakhini (of Hyderabad Deccan - with more Arabic and Dravidian influence)

Talking to yourself is a sign of dementia.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."
