has any one ever use this software?? is it possible to transfer files from one ipod to the computer directly so it can be shared with other ipods with out losing the data??

It is most definitely possible. You can even connect multiple iPods and transfer the stuff from one iPod to the other directly, by-passing the computer.

I haven't used the software you mentioned though. I used ImTOO iPod Computer Transfer.

what a co incident! I downloaded the same software last night after reading a lot about it but I havnt used it yet, i am sure it will work.
there is another way to copy music from your ipod, but thats gives you database file names which will be a bit difficult to know which song is which.
I am going to copy my songs and will let you know if it did work.

i found some videos on youtube about this. i m going to try and see if i can get it to work for me tonight. i seriously hope it works as i don't have the patience to upload 1600 songs one by one into anything and i lost my ...that thing that saves files in it.

Copy trans didnt work for me dont know why but I found this and trust me this is much much better. i needed to copy a few songs and it did it for me without buying it.
the demo version does this if you are interested you can buy it or search for a crack on the net.

^ i know but unfortunately it only transfers 100 songs at a time or something like that. i am talking about more than 1600 so i don't think i will benefit from it. i am just going to buy me a memory stick and try not breaking it three days later.
