i am sure there are many other factors involved. and if you use your brain, you would understand that they are able to sympathize with fair skinned people better because they are familiar with people with fair skin. that is how the human brain works. put lots of people in one room and watch all the brown ones, black ones and white ones gather in their own corners. that is where they feel protected. so 'it's not just the white man that feels this way towards us, it's all of us feeling that way towards each other.

I don't need google when I live by a community of around 20,000-30,000 Pashtuns. And why should I google Afghan people? I thought you were passing the pictures off as Pashtuns. Tajiks and Pashtuns generally look different from one another.

Lol now why would i need to Google if i am pashtun myself? and by looking at my extended family they look very diverse? We got light skinned and TANNED Pashtuns, never brown. Also the 3rd picture you see the epic sun burn on those men and they are still very red.

BTW Pashtuns are the second lightest group in Afghanistan after the nuristanis, compared to the majority of dark tajiks i have encountered. Also Pashtuns are not brown in a sense like pakis or indians.

EXACTLY! Pashtun men back then would mostly mix with their indian harems and create a mixed offspring, similar to what the arabs did with african women they had as slaves. Killzai, don't try to pass SRK or Salman Khan as full pashtuns becuase they are not LOL.

^ I honestly don't believe Pashtuns are as heavily mixed as some would have you think because throughout history Pashtuns have always kept to themselves and have been very xenophobic up until the very present day. It is also rare for Pashtun women to be offered in marriage to non-Pashtuns. Many Pashtuns do not even give their daughters away outside of their tribe. Men, however, do marry from outside. It is not very common, but it does happen and has happened to a certain extent.
