First, "there is no God", that position is indefensible. For that you need to know everything there is to know. No one ever will. The creation theory atheists subscribe to is still a theory, and of course they are big enough to admit that. It is man made, man thought, man created...no different than any other man made belief (as they claim). Yet conscious subscriber of it....doesnt make sense. That's like having "blind faith".

The belief that our sole purpose as living beings is to pass on genes raises some critical moral and ethical questions. Atheism can't even count for morals let alone address those issues. Selfish genes makes things worse. Any explanation, reasoning, or logic provided is as significant as not having one. You might as well just believe in a sky-god. You have to face the ugly fact of social Darwinism and nihilism. Friedrich Nietzsche argued this, and was afraid that atheism will eventually lead to this. Even went as far as suggesting that religion is an antidote against it.

Ever wonder why some atheistic nationalist midst Persians and Pukhtoons sound like total fascists? Just pay attention to some here...look for words like panjos, bediouns, dark, ugly, indics, black etc. etc.

The interesting thing though, it is done by most utilizing "secularism".....
