Oh, my!!!that's pretty amazing piece of information. I never heard of that before. It removed my earlier doubts about "prudence" of duck males. Great research study.I am excited to see the result of their studies extended to other animals. That would be pretty awesome!

Quite bizzare,yet interesting form of (evolution-mediated) selective advantage of a group of animals, in this case the males, that is developed over the other males to compete for the female mate. Hmm...animals always intrigue me in the most profoundest manner. I must stop here now,lol.

As far as i remember, our masharaan say 'ka rawaa de kho pa ghlaa de'.. We must not discuss the penis in such a forum. its not the forum of English or Indian people. its pukhtoons forum. Shlombay is a member. i think he must think before launching any such thread. if he is more interested in teaching the ladies about such things, of after all if the ladies are intersted to know this, then there is a way of doing it in private msgs or else on email ids.. Its my request to scrape this thread and block it for ever.. Everyone of us wanna be liberal, but its not that easy to be one.. After all our Islam never allows us to discuss such stuff in the public. if one wants to be liberal, one can take off the cloths and have a round in the market place, but i'm 500% sure that no son or dotr of pukhtoon can do it..

Learn to keep a clean heart. That way, you will see things differently. This is a scientific study. So what if it's about the reproductive organs of an animal? It's researched knowledge nonetheless and all real knowledge has its worth. Granted, this information won't change our lives but to say that this research is lesser than any study on physics, philosophy, history, etc is pure ignorant. Who has given you the authority to censor or un-censor knowledge? How can we, as a society, move forward if we start deciding which knowledge is immoral and which is acceptable?

Dwaim_Ghani_Khan, it saddens me to see your reply. Can't our ladies study about animals? Should we stop teaching biology to our womenfolk?

Also, you have no idea whatsoever what liberalism is. The very fact that you can speak your mind here on the internet is a result of liberalism. Liberalism does not mean running around naked. Please, start thinking with a clean mind. We want Pashtun with pure thoughts free from greed, perversion, hate and bigotry.

Here's some (halal) food for thought. The native people of South America and elsewhere went around naked since time immemorial, only covering a small part of their bodies until the white monotheist man and his desert religion arrived uninvited and told them to be ashamed of themselves. Shame? Those people didn't even know what the word meant. Prior to that, when they saw flesh, they didn't get sexually aroused and there was nothing shameful about it. Their hearts were clean. Those people were pure - purer than all of us. They lived in close-knit and peaceful communities. Then people went to them with their desert religions and polluted their hearts with guilt, shame, sexual perversion..... What was considered asexual became nothing but sexual. The desert religion of the white man filled the natives' hearts with lust, carnality and vulgarity. Their innocence was destroyed by barbaric filth.
