Doubt anything will happen in our lifetime, I dont think we'll be moving away from Chemical engines anytime soonOriginally posted by Elite PakhtunI still remember those pieces of garbage asking US presidents, when they visit, stuff like "why can't we (India) teach them (Pakistan) a lesson?". Morr kus de ughaym.. f*cking indiot garbage. I f*cking hate them so f*cking much. Afkoonis jumping on indiot d*ck is f*cking annoying too.

worm holes are where its at.
even light speed travel would be painfully slow in the scheme of things. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

I think that the most we can expect in our lifetime is Mars & Moon colonisation along with perhaps some small manned scientific research bases on the other moons of the solar system...along with the initial development of an orbital artificial satellite station (not the ISS).
Other than that, given the immense costs of developing interstellar space travel, I doubt we'd see such an expedition until the necessity arises (and that's a long way away).
Alpha Centauri will always remain a distant bright dot in the night sky for us folk.
The concept of warping space-time rather than the actual spaceship looks really interesting to me. Physics is ever-evolving so who knows when we will see interstellar travel happen and through what means.---
To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their
own inclinations and desires.
