Seems like you guys take this tribe thing very serious in the 21st century.

its the way we recognize eachother....
but i myself dnt take it really seriously cuz im kinda against nationalism..
If i do ask someone wht tribe they are its just out of curiosity nd wont change my opinion of them

Durrani was a laqab given to Ahmad Shah Baba by the local Kandaharis for his braveness and the honor he brought to Kandahar and etc. Its something that Sadozai can exclusively claims as their since Ahmad Shah Baba is directly related to them. I know Sadozai's/Abdalis who are the great,great great etc grand children of him. Thats why its good you did not say you are Durrani because with 1 phone call it would be easy to see if you really are sadozai/abdali from Qandahar or not.



As far as Alokozai is concerned I am not an expert of Alokozais. I do have Alokozai family members from Qandahar. In fact half of my family is Alokozai.



All Pashtuns are sub tribes of a tribe and etc we are all one. Dont get this tribal thing get to your head.

^^you being Kandahari is enough for you to be happy. Kandahar holds a lot of weight the majority of the rulers we pashtuns take pride in are kandari. in fact it was the 1st capital of Afghanistan and it was the capital again when Taliban was in charge.
