f(x) at x=5 is undefined because lim f(x) as it approaches x=5 from the right does not equal lim f(x) as it approaches it from the left.
Basically, if the derivative of the left part of the graph doesn't equal the derivative from the right path of the graph, you have no means of determining the slope at that point.
Now, if it was a smooth like, a nice beautiful parabola with just one point missing, then you could determine it: lim f(x) as it approaches from the right would equal lim f(x) as it approaches from the left.

      Piece of cake,

A)As X approaches 1 from the left the limit is 2
B)As X approaches 1 from the right the limit is 3
C)As X approach just 1, quite obviously the limit DNE[Does not exist]
      D)As X approaches just 5, the limit is 4
E)F(5) does not exist, since the hole is not filled in. If the hole was filled in, I would have gave you an answer.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

lol.. I'm sorry.. I wasn't sure what you were asking, you didn't say which answers you want. As you were talking about the last one.. I assumed that's the one you're looking for. Sorry. =/
