  • syllabus notes and interactive revision?

    saalam,

i wanted to ask if people think that if i throughout my revision created a thread like an interactive thing with questions and notes and allowing people to ask questions, would that be a good idea......it will serve as an educational aid as well as revision. it will go through the syallbus.......would that be of any use to anyone? i will be covering psychology, r.s. and probably sociology? oh and maybe science---biology?
i personally think that this would be useful for me aswell as others who may have an interest in the above subjects.
i want to know if people would like me to do this, otherwise i will not be sure if it is of any use to anyone, and whether i am using my time efficently doing this?

your feedback is necessary therefore greatly appreciated

Sounds like a great idea. It would be very helpful.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

          It's a nice idea and it'd serve a useful purpose, so thumb's up. =)

Also try to post the syllabus of the subjects, (i.e. AQA/Edexcel/OCR), and the qualification, (i.e. GCSE/AS/A2/Uni Course), if you can.

Erm, well who do you usually revise or make notes? Coz if it's by paper then I wouldn't bother writing it all up, unless you have the time. But you could from memory, attempt to bullet point the main things you've leanr and then post them, or when writing essays you could paste them here? We have some very learned people here in different areas, who I'm sure would be willing to help, so you could get some great feedback.

Those are a few suggestions, maybe someone else has better ideas?

palwasha.......it normally depends on the subject im doing, because i have different strategies for different topics, i thought that i could explore a new strategy, sometimes when your writing things or making someone understand something, it kinda helps to implement/demonstrate it and apply the knowledge, which helps to embedd it in the memory........and may help me to easily recall it, i personally enjoy writing as i believe it helps to improve my written communication. But i was thinking i would put the key parts in.

i will indeed try my best, it was partly one of your posts i think the one on the psychology resources that made me want to implement this idea, as i had initially been considering it. i will hopefully try and maintian my consistency, once term time starts.......this will hopefully serve as elaborative revision for me.
