But how do you think i should word the retake thing?
It doesn't matter if you're re-taking it or if you're an external student, you can still leave it as pending.

I wouldn't say you should mention it, becuase re-takes and all are common, so you don't really need to justify it, if you get what I mean.

Erm, just say it simply and don't dwell on it.. ''I plan to improve my grades/increase my UMS score by re-taking various modules in January''..

But yeah, talk to your 6th form people.

^ but you know when you put the instituions in and then they ask you what qualifications you did and what you achieved, do i put a grade on that or put that as pending, because i am not retaking it in my sixth form.

How should the personal statement or statement of interest appear depends on the program one is applying to and the interest of the potential advisor. If one is applying to multiple programs, some modification is required to make it suit to the requirement and eligibility criteria of different programs.

So if one has a good PS already, the overall structure can be retained but some detail may be changed.

Ohh, you're gonna do the exam elsewhere.. erm I'm not sure, you'll have to ring up your head of 6th form and ask them.

^ i agree, but if you are retaking some things, what would be the best way to word it?

                Dear eyeliner

I see that this thread is wee bit old and i dont know if you still require help in those areas.

                Do you?

If you do then let me know and if possible send me your Personal Statement and i will be more then happy to go through it. I know a thing or two about universities in UK so ight be of some help.

If its all done and dusted then i do hope that you achieved what you had hoped for.
