Girls' education in Afghanistan

Obviously, this is nothing more than just regular propaganda.

The reason why women are not allowed to go to school is not because of Taliban restrictions alone. Women have never attended schools before. Just a small minority did.

And back then, there was no Taliban. It was just regular conservative people who are against womens education.

And besides, Taliban are against secular education where male teachers teach women and they interact directly with a non-mahram person. And they object teaching of singing and dancing at schools.

But these propaganda articles are just trying to use any means possible to demonize the taliban.

Thats not true Sangar many women attended school in the 50s and 60s. Many educated Afghans came to the west to teach in American Universities.

The Taliban did force woman not to go to school.

Before you tell me that what I said is not true, you should be able to produce evidence in support of your claim. In the second half of the 20th century some people did allow their daughters to attend schools. That was primarily in Kabul. The vast majority of our women have never attended schools.

Just because there was a very small minority of women attending school back then, it doesn't mean that what I said is not true.

And what you are saying about Taliban is not entirely true. Because in Afghanistan eventually the Taliban did allow women to attend schools. And There is plenty of evidence for that. Even Western press reported this. And there is even an entire book written about this subject by abid ullah jan with the title Afghanistan genesis to final crusade. It is available on Amazon.com.
