This guy goes to my university or at least did. I saw him I believe once from afar at the University of calgary jumaah. He was also interviewed in the magazine of the university about a year ago.
Why can't we just look at it for what it is. Sangar Jana, do you have solid proof for what you are saying?
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:
[61:8]They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.
[61:9]He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.
Why can't we just look at it for what it is. Sangar Jana, do you have solid proof for what you are saying?
The answer is simple, MWMN:
When we ourselves always have hidden agendas and ourselves are to be suspected everywhere we go, we suspect others of the same; we suspect that others, too, have hidden agendas everywhere they go.
I mean, for all we know, the gentleman above is an honest and sincere man with a pure intention of helping promote education among Pukhtun females in Afghanistan. But because some of us are very insecure people, we think that the only reason anyone would ever help us is if they want something from us, if they want to destroy us, if they want to give us a bad name in the media, etc., etc.
Yet, according to the title of this thread, the PhD candidate in the article is a Pukhtun. If we're suspecting even our own Pukhtuns of having hidden political agendas -- oh my -- the non-Pukhtuns are just set to rob us of our utter being, then!
Shush Mullah Sangara, may be if you are more positive you should then be able to see good side of what this man is trying to achieve. Enough of your BS! You are a very negative person.
Because literacy among Pashtun women is very low. And the crusaders use this as an argument to shove secularism and evolution theory down our throat.
And awarding a person who conducted a research this field is just a media scoop. Nothing more than that.
I doubt that there could be anyone in the world who has deeper feeling and respect for Ulema than I do but please God, Forgive me if my dislike for a Mullah grows every time I come across such narrow views.
[COLOR="Purple"][FONT="Century Gothic"]So long as there is the earth and the heavens;
So long as the world endures;
So long as there is life in the world;
So long as a single Afghan breathes;
There will be this Afghanistan.
Long live the Afghan nation.
Long live the Republic.
Forever there be our national unity
