Scientifically you can trace your ancestry from the Y chromosome which can only be tracked from father to father to father to father etc its not possible to trace your ancestry from mother to mother to mother..if you have a problem then argue with science, biology, human body and genetics.

Pashtuns are not a race. One who doesnt speak Pashto cannot be a Pashtun.

Btw king Zahir Shah and his family were persianized to the core and spoke Farsi as a first language but still considerd themselves FULL Pashtun. Nuristani also speak Pashto but are they considered pashtun? NO.

If you trace yourself to a Pashtun tribe you are pashtun. Case closed!

That is a very nice philosophy but not biologically true.I am not a medical student but as far as I know in REproduction a total of 52 or 53 chromosomes are required 20 something from each parent so you get the equal genetics.Besides that some inherit some properties from one parent and others from the other , totally random :/ Once again I am not going to debate much on this since I am not a medical student.Mind my ignorance but I am sure that you are not ONLY what your father is
