haha... My cousins wife is going down the GP route, he is a pharmacist.. My moms cousin ( her uncles son) is a consultant GI surgeon.

my mom doesnt want me being a psychiatrist though. My cousins husband is slightly depressed and she fears Ill end up being the same... she wants me 2 go down the internal medicine route or the GP route

hmm.....i fink ur mums more worried dat ders gona b long ques of pashtuns outside da house saying can u get me dis drug im depressed, can u write me dis letta etc lol u know wat pashtuns are like. But hey do wat u enjoy even thou i know ur mum has ur best intrests at heart.

Actually there are loads of pashtuns in our community who are Drs/dentists/pharmacists etc... oh well Ill help anyone if I can

if you want I can put you in touch with my cousins wife though we hardly see one another on account of us only meeting at family gatherings or my friend whose pashtuna from my village whose a GP with her own practise and shes only 29!

wow.lucky her da fing is my first step is to get in2 uni n get my grades. Plus its so much harder to get in2 uni nowadays cuz of dis recession crap.

well I know they have changed the entry criteria and now they do enterence exams as well ... its extreamly competative... I assume you want to go to Birmingham Medical school

You make friends who will last you for life... you have fun and its so exciting plus I was not at home I lived out in London so there was an added bonus 2....
