Looking like a fashion designer is a compliment, at least it is here in the US where people can wear different fashions unlike the barren icy wasteland of Canada and its mandatory Eskimo fur suits and hats. I can only recognize the faces of currently relevant black people aside from MLK like Sharpton, Jackson, Hank Johnson, the McDonalds guy who rescued the girls in Ohio, etc. I know who Rosa Parks was but put her picture next to Aunt Jemima's I wouldn't know which is which.

Was that supposed to offend me? Don't Americans in Alaska drive snowmobiles instead of cars and wear coats made out of animal fur? You also said that Canada has the same exact culture of america so it will have no problem becoming a 51st state, and now your calling them "igloo dwellers"?

Wow talk about changing goal posts.

Exactly, similar culture although Canadians seem more sensitive sometimes. Never said anything about igloos, don't divert this thread over the side of a frosty Canadian glacier now, this thread is about people who influentioned you.

Huh? Better leave the Football analogies to those of us who play sports other than hockey and moose hunting.

I think those oil fumes of McDonalds have gone to your head now. You're the one that derived this thread by taking about Canadians and "Eskimos." You would be surprised how angry an American gets when he is called obese or "fat." Anyways I will be cautious next time when I bring up gun laws infront of a bunch of angry white southerners.

I don't play hockey or go "moose hunting" nice try. And as for Canada becoming a 51st state? No thanks! I like my free healthcare too much!

No male American gets angry when you call them fat, call them fat and they'll tell you "Damn right I'm large and in charge". A woman will get pissed but thats true of almost every country.

Healthcare will be socialized in a few years, the first steps have already been taken.

What exactly did you say? You assumed its southerners because thats the accent you hear on TV but people are angry all over the states follow the respective mountain chains from Las Vegas up to eastern Pacific NW to the South up to Vermont. Many along those lines and in between are willing to secede, they just can't find legitimate leadership.

This leads me to believe you haven't been here, or spent little time around a lot of different American people. Kind of like another part of the world you often post about...

Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                        -Ferishta, 1560–1620
