Listen wrora, as i have said before that i can not gaurantee about pashtuns living outside pashtunkhwa that they will know how to count in pashto, you are from karachi.
Pashtuns in pashtunkhwa can count in pashto but prefer to count in urdu as it is easier in case of high digits and calculations.
    Urdufication.

That's the point being made here.

In pakistan pashto subject is compulsory upto fifth class, it is upto our pashtun leaders to make it compulsory upto 10th class in similar fashion like sindh so no need of blaming very thing on paksitan and others.

And believe me pashto at instance is more relatively more safe than in afghanistan.
      Joke?

We are the majority in our country my friend! Yes in Kabul and Tajik/Hazarah/Uzbak provinces Farsi is dominant, but in all pashto dominant provinces pashto is dominant. The other thing is that Even a good portion of non Pashtuns understands the language and speaks it as well. The other thing I have noticed is that Pashtuns in Afghanistan is being more aware of the importance of speaking our own language instead of Farsi. You watched the election debates? Hazara candidate and Tajik Candidate both spoke in pashto!!!

I Speak and understand a little farsi, but I never speak farsi to an afghan, no matter farsiwan or pashtun. I have no problem with an afghan speaking to me in farsi - I speak my language you speak your language.

The Pakistani you are living with cannot even bear to hear the Pakhtunkhwa name:
      watch after 8:30 minutes.
“Pakistan, which plays a key role in Asia, is so famous for treachery that it is said they can get milk from a bull. They have two tongues in one mouth, and two faces on one head so they can speak everybody’s language; they use everybody, deceive everybody.

what is the point of this you all? Pashtuns are suffering on both sides of the durand. Now here is the thing, we have problems on both of the durand. By trying to one up each other doesn`t make us any better. Let us call our problems out where there are.

Yes, honestly da Bebaana za ye pa Afghanistan Siyaasat rakhistalay day. Yes, Pashto is important, but guess what, it's the official language there already. There are other ethnicities and other languages there as well and we can't be this narrow-minded.

Dari is the most spoken Language in afghanistan.
50% of the country speak it.

"Most" would mean more than 50%, wrora.
Do you have any statistics? I've been looking for some for a very long time.

Since the country is Pashtun majority, Its right to say Pashto is spoken more as compared to Dari.

Pashtuns are talented enough to know both, while other ethnic groups do not learn Pashto.
If so, then how can anyone give any percentages as to how many percent of Afghanistan speak what language?
I agree with both of your posts..

Basically, there are many Pashtuns.. but maany maany of the Pashtuns will at least be fluent in Dari.. and some will even have it as their mother language. See the Pashtuns in Kabul... or those who live in Herat, they all speak Pashto and Dari. Not because they're submissive or anything - just because they are "talented" like that. It also is more difficult for a Darizubaan to learn Pashto than it is for a Pashtozubaan to learn Dari.

                                Hi,

Could you explain to me how it is more difficult for a Darizaban to learn Pashto? As compared to a Pashtun who can speak both?

Have in mind tons of Tajiks can speak Pashto in the province of Kandahar.

I am interesting in knowing from your perspective. I am not attempting to interrogate you or anything.

Are Pashtuns better in learning languages ? Id love to know

                                Salam.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
