There are only 28 vet schools in the country and admission is very competitive. With the low number of graduates every year and increasing demand, vet’s are becoming one of the fastest growing jobs in the United States.

hmmm okay....so while a medical doctor is done with medical school with $ 250,000 debt.....they would be making hell of a lot of money to pay it off right? Starting off before the other doesnt say much. Your income also depends on the demand of the field/specializations/area/degree, etc. Yes, i wont deny that someone with a Masters makes a hell of a lot of money.

          Look at these salaries
Family practice salaries information as well as physician salary survey results for other medical and surgical specialties.

Neurology salary survey results with prospective and historical trends.

But then again, the more money you make, you more you get taxed. I have never known a physician that makes below gross income of $200,000. Medical doctors have higher degree than masters. They go to professional schooling just like a Lawyer does.

              LOL
I got a joke last week:

Student: "Sir, what is Math for in schools?"

Teacher: "To save Life of many people!"

Student: "What? How Math helps in saving Life of anybody?"

Teacher: "Because it keeps many idiots out of Medical colleges"

Just a thought - optometrists make over $105,000 a year (starting salary, mind you!), and the education they go through is:

                    - 12 years of school
                    - 4 years of college (undergraduate)
                    - 4 years of optometry school

AND DONE! Job guaranteed even before you graduate becuase no one likes to take risks with their eyes, and so they'll ALWAYS go to an optometrist if something's wrong (more than just a little something in the eye, of course, lol).

And, by the way, let's not forget that how much money you get depends on on where you live/work (state, city, rural/urban areas, etc.) as well as on your position. For instance, to say that "professors make this much money" would be wrong no matter what the amount you claim is, becuase it depends on the professor's title and position, awards, and demand. If she/he is known around the country or world, and everyone wants to hire her/him, then chances are, the money is QUITE good!

So, yeah, I wouldn't accept this as written in stones. The amount seems to change each year.

Yes. High-five yo! I get done next year. But I'm not quite sure what I want to do with a BS in Political Science. The field is way too broad. As long as I can find a cool job (preferably a government one), I'll be happy.

Ever considered law? Or professorship? I think both would suit you!

                              :O Fyyyyyyyynne!

Hmm... well, in most fields today, just a Bachelors isn't considered good enough. So if you love politics, you can go on into a Master's in the same field. If not, you can go for ANY field you like, and they'll appreciate that you have a Bachelors in Political Science. Remember that your Masters and Bachelors don't have to be related at all in order for you to advance :O (I just found this out and was shocked.)

You could consider Public Policy, MBA,

I also hear you can work for an NGO or other non-governmental organizations, if you're interested.

See, also, if this link will help.
